The first thing we would like to say is that we are ministry partners. We are serving at the Bethel International Christian Academy with missionaries Chulnam Lee and Eunkyung Jo assisting them in all aspects of running the school.

The Bethel International Christian Academy is an officially accredited secondary school in Yucatan, Mexico. The school have dormitories, so students from other regions can study and live at the school. As of 2022-2023 school year, we have enrolled 80 students from first year of middle school to first year of high school. About 20 of them are living in the dormitories. Students staying in the dormitories will go home on Friday afternoon after the classes and Friday Chapel, and return on Sunday evening.

On Saturday morning, students can attend Children's Sunday School (New Generation Church) and on Sunday morning, we provide services for children.

'Yucatan Mission' program for Sunday School teachers:
From October to March of each year, using textbooks developed by the center for about 5 months, the Summer Bible school is held at churches nearby towns and cities. During summer vacation, a youth camp is held for local young people and young people from the US and Korea for ten days, then they are sent to rural churches that cannot have their own program to provide Summer Bible School.
 

Together with a short-term mission team, we visit nearby rural villages where the gospel has not taken root and through community service, we work in evangelism ministry.
 

We are looking to hire:

• You must have the assurance of salvation. (Testimony and 2 letters of recommendation from clergy and pastors)

• Spanish Required: You must be able to speak basic language related to your ministry.

• Specialization:

  • Assistant teacher (English, math, physics, chemistry, biology, physical education, etc.)

  • Musical instruments (piano, violin, cello, viola, flute, clarinet, trumpet, drums, guitar, flute)

  • Building management (electricity, plumbing, etc.)

  • Vehicle management

• Ages:

  • For assistant teachers, it is limited only to those attending university or graduate school.

• Must be able to withstand hot and humid climates mentally and physically.

• Ministry duration: 3-6 months, or 1 year (Excluding July and August for assistant teachers)

• Living expenses: You will be responsible for all expenses, including room and board (approximately $400/month).
   

Miscellaneous: Living organization will be conducted under the guidance of a senior missionary.
 

The assistant teachers will have the opportunity to present the gospel through their relationships with middle and high school students. You can help them with their hope and dreams as we see that most local young people have lost their hope and dreams.
 

Through building and vehicle maintenance ministry, you can provide good quality education to the students. The building is always in need of repair due to poor construction quality, and the vehicles are always in need of maintenance.
 

Through community living, you can guide them on how to respond personal conflicts and how to solve them.
